easter monday signing

April 8, 2012

Biff%20Wheeler%201.jpgNightmare. My human pet is planning another road trip. I'm not sure where it is that we're going this time but yesterday, I heard her telling a friend that 'it was all organised'. What this really means is that she has bought a self-erecting pod tent from Décathlon and re-sellotaped the car wing mirror together.

Anyway, I'm not going to worry about that now. I was given a dried pig's ear for Easter, so have plenty to be happy about. My human wasn't very happy when she found it tucked down the side of the sofa, where I'd put it for safe keeping, but I think really she was just jealous that no one had given her a pig's ear. She muttered something about going vegetarian again, but I wasn't fooled.

Anyway, this is just a quick post to wish everyone happy Easter and to say that I will be taking my pet along to Fish & Chip night at the bar in Champniers tomorrow evening, to sign some more of her books. (Surely there can't be anyone left in the Poitou-Charentes who doesn't already own a copy?) PS: where is this elusive Easter bunny that everyone keeps talking about?

Monday 9th April, 6.00 pm onwards: book signing at Bar Les Tilleuls, Champniers, 86400. Tel 05 49 87 08 99; www.champniersbar.com.

I'm rather intrigued by the news of a pod tent from decathlon (have one myself) - is your pet going camping? The pig's ear sounds delicious Biff, have no doubt she was jealous. Happy Easter to you & your pet.

Hello Biff and Karen. Have so enjoyed all of your books (Karen) and reading the blog (Biff and Karen). Karen, I sincerely hope your life has now taken an up turn from the very sad time you have endured, take heart and be happy for the future.

Just one question, what happened to 'Dave' and the others from the first book? They have never been mentioned again?

Anyway, with best wishes to you both and look forward to more reading!

Carole

Hi Carole

thanks for your message & good question. There just isn't space to mention everyone in each book, so I have to 'edit'people out (although it doesn't mean that I won't bring them back in future!) 'Miranda' is now living in the UK but no one knows exactly where. As for 'Dave' he is still around and still not prepared to bury the hatchet, although I've tried several times. As several readers have suggested, it's probably a lucky break... (And for him too!)

all best

Karen
