scoring an 8

December 1, 2009

Happiness is...being back at my desk in France, with a blank screen, a large mug of M&S Fairtrade coffee and a little black dog curled up at my feet. Oh, and scoring an '8' on the US website www.chicklitclub.com. (I was disappointed that Tout Sweet wasn't given a nine or ten until Angela, my reviewer, told me that only very rarely does she award an 8/10)

Anyway, for anyone who doesn't already own a copy of Tout Sweet, this excellent site is currently running a competition with signed copies of the book as the prize. And for anyone who feels they haven't already seen/read enough of me, there is also an author interview - with suggestions as to which actors would play the main characters in the film version of Tout Sweet - at the following link: http://www.chicklitclub.com/karenwheeler.html

This is a fun interview -- thanks for the link. As previously said, I can't wait for the next book (unfortunately, I don't really have a choice, but I hope it doesn't take too long).
