I've been in Spain, specifically Seville, which is now officially my favourite city in Europe. I have to admit I'm a sucker for Moorish architecture, fancy tiling and a flourish of wrought iron gating. And those Andalusians certainly know a thing or two about building a patio garden. While there, I picked up many inspiring ideas for my little courtyard in France. One of my favourite is this: I love the idea of using upside down terracotta pots to add a little elevation.

Mmm pots with sort of high heels. Dangerous trend here as I forsee matching growbags and a whole range of accessories in the offing. Puts a whole new twist on "last season" as well.
