tout sweet

Tout%20Sweet%20Cover%20-%20Version%203.jpgTravis texts me from London to tell me that Tout Sweet: Hanging Up My High Heels For a New Life in Rural France' is now available for pre-order on Amazon. (July 6 is the publication date). Friends and blog-readers who live locally will also be able to pick up a signed copy in the bookshop in my village, which is also taking pre-orders.

Meanwhile, a top London PR offers to organise (and find a sponsor for) a breakfast event to launch my book. I haven't even done the final edits yet but I'm already planning my launch party outfit - and it won't involve Wellington boots or a Barbour.

Cool girlie - comp me for the PR launch. Things really moving now - can't wait to see it for real...are you having a photo of yourself in the book....i sense a shoot might be in order...Bestseller list here we come...x

I am really looking forward to this one. Whatever you wear for the launch, don't forget to have a discreet splash of gloss paint in your hair, a small spanner sticking out of your handbag, and a madonna tucked under your arm. :-)

Hi Susie,

yes, gloss paint in hair, a spanner (and a set of allen keys)not to mention the madonna statue all represent key moments of my life here in France. And thus attired, I will be prepared for anything!
